Nana came up for a week to celebrate Christmas. She brought her own special tree and spoiled us all with presents. The girls flipped over a white tree.
Big sister showing little sister how her light up pillow works.
The girls loved getting to spend time with Nana and playing with her.
Nana also came in town to help with the girls while David underwent a procedure. Back in the spring he cut his hair short and discovered a rather large birthmark on his scalp. Months went by and he finally had it checked by his dermatologist. She said that it needed to come off, but recommended he see a plastic surgeon because of the location. He had it cut out on December 10th. It was sent off to pathology and came back melanoma.
Due to the holidays he opted to wait until Jan. 7th to go back and have the rest cut out. They ended up doing Mohs surgery and the good news is that he caught it early and the doctor thinks they got it all! He hopes so, given the size of hole. Better a big scar than the alternative.

Good to see Nana. And most of all, thank God for family and friends that prayed so much for David's good report.
What a relief.
